 1.  American Fork Junior High is presenting  the play Beauty and the Beast this week.  
 2.  Ms. Hansen is the drama teacher.
 3.  Are you going to the play? 

 The subject is what the sentence is about, and what the predicate says, the subject does or is.

2) Parts of Speech --  Subject and Predicate
A subject will be a noun or a pronoun, or a word or set of words that is acting as a noun.
A predicate will be a verb or a set of words that make up the verb.

3) Take the Prefix/Suffix Test
  Note:  You may retake the Prefix/Suffix test (a different version of it) beginning on May 9 during Cave Time.

4) Stand Tall
   Review QARs -- pigs! 

A1  finished answering questions for Chapter 2, reviewed QARs, reviewed the questions for chapter 3, and began reading chapter 3.  

A2 discussed group questions for chapters 1 and 2, reviewed QARs, reviewed questions for Chapter 4 and began reading chapter 4 with 13 minutes of class left.


A3 finished up questions for Chapter 3 and group questions, reviewed QARs, and began reading Chapter 4 with questions.


A4  A3 finished up questions for Chapter 3 and group questions, reviewed QARs, and began reading Chapter 4 with questions.
