Spelling for Second Semester

There will be absolutely NO retakes of the prefix/suffix spelling tests during Semester 2. Learn them for the first test.  

If you are absent on the day the words are handed out, you are responsible to get them from here or from the file in the classroom.  

If you are absent on the day the test is taken, you are responsible to take the test -- usually during Cavetime on Tuesday or Friday, or if necessary, arrange a time after school.  

 

See the spelling assignments on the posts for the days they are handed out (test days), or see the lists at the tab above marked Spelling.  If one week is particularly easy for you, you could study ahead or review the old word parts, meanings, and words.  You will see them again, as well as using many of them in your writing.
