A-Day Students:
We read and discussed Stand Tall.
A1 - We read and discussed through chapter 13.
A2- summarized, discussed through page 107, then students read a few more minutes.
We watched part of the video about flooding.
We played Sparkle with prefixes and suffixes. Make sure you know these.
Also study your confusing words.
Be able to pass off prefixes and suffixes and confusing words with at least 80%.
Also be able to recognize and write complete sentences.
B-Day Students:
We had a guest speaker -- Mr. Tom Napierski, and took notes on his presentation -- related to our study of Stand Tall, of heroes, and of focusing on what you have instead of on what you don't have.
