Announcements and Reminders:
Sign up for November Book of the Month.  Sign-ups are due today.

These students have only one hall pass left for term 2:
Kyle B., Addie H., Matthew W., Anthony J., Spencer N.
Make sure you save it for a true necessity.
Some others have only two, so choose wisely.

Pick up your composition books!

1.  Individual Reading  -- You should be reading your book for the Book-of-the-Month.         10 minutes

2.  Write for 5 minutes in your composition book.  Respond to this prompt:   Label it  "Bully"  November 7, 2013
Write at least a half page.  
            If you were facing a bully, would you
§       run the other way?
§       get help from your friends and/or family?
§       face your opponent and fight?
§       try to use logic and reasoning to reach an agreement?
§       use a strategy other than the ones listed above?

Explain what you would probably do and why?  Or, if you have faced a bully in the past, write about what you did.
