You should have already signed up for your November book of the month: Science Fiction or Fantasy.
You have eleven  (11) days until your Book-of-the-Month assessment on November 25.   Read your book and collect themes and evidence of those themes!

One very common theme for science fiction/distopian novel is
    "Freedom is more important than security/safety. "
Another common theme in science fiction and fantasy is 
    "The small and seemingly weak can defeat the large and powerful
          when they persist in doing what they need to do."
     (or) when they work together."

"It is noble to stand up against the powerful and evil."
"A few good people can make a big difference in the world."


Book Orders are due by November 22.

1.  Individual Reading:  Read your science fiction or fantasy book  and prepare for the Book-of-the-Month Assessment.  

B8:  Reading Priscilla and the Wimps with Mr. Rawlings
and we finished listening to "Rikki-Tikki-Tavi."
The students completed together and handed in the worksheet for "Priscilla and the Wimps."
