- Today is the last day to hand in late or revised work or available extra credit.
- Summertime: Share your summer reading on our Edmodo page. Please don't just chat about random things there. I won't have time to keep up with cleaning out old chats. Just share the books you read, comment about them, and respond to those comments. Thanks!

Thank you to Mrs. Shaum: Today we read the story “Priscilla and the Wimps” by Richard Peck. The story ends with Priscilla shoving Monk in a locker and the reader being told that there’s a snow storm and that school is closed for a week. The reader is lead to believe that Monk is left in the locker for a whole week. But the way the story ended was done more for impact than to inform the reader. It was an example of hyperbole. So my question to you is this: http://mrsshaum.blogspot.com/
What do you think REALLY happened to Monk after he got
shoved in the locker? Please write at least 2-3 sentences
explaining your thoughts. Write your answer in your
composition book.
