vs Less? It's "fewer" ice cubes, but "less" water. "Fewer" is for
countable nouns. Fewer people. Fewer apples. Fewer options. "Less" is
generally for non-countable nouns. Less water. Less snow. Note that if
you gave a unit of measurement to the water (gallons) you could say,
"fewer gallons of water."
