A book you’ve already read	We want you to experience many kinds of books.	Don’t read it for a book project.
A Long Way to Water	Read as a 7th grade class book	Don’t read it for a book project.
And Then There Were None	Read as a 8th grade class book	Don’t read it for a book project.
Anthem	Read as a 9th grade class book	Don’t read it for a book project.
Book of Three	You may read it as a class or in a small group.	Ask your teacher.
Book Thief	Read as a 9th grade class book	Don’t read it for a book project.
Books below a 700 lexile level	May be too easy for you	Ask your teacher.
Books less than 100 pages long	You can do more than that!	Don’t read it for a book project.
Books that were read to you in elementary school	You’ve already experienced it.	Don’t read it for a book project.
Books with “mature” material	May be inappropriate for seventh grade	Ask your parent or guardian and your teacher.
Captain Underpants	Too young for you	Don’t read it for a book project.
Chasing Lincoln’s Killer	Read as a 8th grade class book	Don’t read it for a book project.
Collections of short stories or poems	Most likely won’t work for your project	Notice what genre you are supposed to read, and if confused ask your teacher.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid	May be too young	Ask your teacher.
