Directions: Listen to the teacher read the following quote with correct punctuation. Fill in the missing punctuation in the quote, and fix any capitalization errors you see.

i dont want to die now it ain't long enough sixteen years ain't long enough i wouldnt mind it so much if there wasnt so much stuff i ain't done yet and so many things i ain't seen its not fair you know what that time we were in windrixville was the only time ive been away from the neighborhood


Check for Capitalization: 
·      proper nouns
·      "I" as a personal pronoun 
·      beginning of sentences

Check for Punctuation:
·      apostrophes in contractions
·      end of sentence punctuation (period, question mark)
·      quotation marks for spoken dialogue
