For your test on prefixes and suffixes, be able to write either the word part if you given the meaning, or write the meaning if you are given the word part.
Notice that the suffixes -tion and -ment, have the power to change verbs to nouns!
Think about attend changing to attention and govern changing to government.
The suffixes -tion and -ment generally mean "act, action, state, state of, or result of."
