  • completed your Canvas Assignments:  Outsiders Text Messages and Argument PreQuiz (what you know about argument writing),

  • wrote the introductory paragraph for an argument essay on MyAccess -- (imagining that he lived and healed)  "Should Johnny Cade be punished for the death of Robert Sheldon?"   Can you write an effective hook, add background knowledge, and write a thesis sentence with your claim and two or three reasons why it is true?
  • Talk with me if you need a retake on the Overall Spelling Test.  Have you taken all of the spelling tests?

Today’s  Agenda for Monday/Tuesday, December 17/18, 2018:

Do not get out your treats until directed to.

1. Do you need to finish your argument introductory paragraph or your Letter About Literature?
Are you missing any spelling tests?
You may work on those as we watch the movie.

2.  Clean up -- You may recycle any papers that you are sure you are finished with.  If it is a paper you were to hand in, make sure you have the grade on Skyward.
Replace your composition book in your hanging folder.
Turn in your hall pass requests!

3.  Watch The Outsiders video -- and have treats.  If you brought some, you may bring them out now.
