Spelling: 

 Continue to study your spelling.  Retakes for the first test are available in CaveTime.  Retakes for the second test will be available September 26/27 and thereafter.  Practice the words for the second test at https://quizlet.com/_3qdfsp.

Conventions in Sentences Investigations 
Tape the handout  into your composition book under CSI Sentences/Grammar.  Page 83/84 +
Label this CSI #7 and add today's date. 


The following sentence is from Roland Smith, Jack's Run (2007).

Only one version of the sentence is written correctly.   Label it CORRECT,  
For each of the rest there is ONE thing wrong.
Tell what is wrong with each of the incorrect sentences.
